When mermaids are life, what better way to celebrate than with the classic movie Splash. Grab the girls and get inspired by this awesome viewing party. Stylists 3rd & Luxe tell all!
We recently threw this Summer outdoor viewing party, featuring the classic 80’s mermaid flick Splash. The epic do featured plenty of mermaid inspired movie treats such as colourful popcorn, shell chocolates, mini cakes for easy movie munching, and the prettiest mermaid cookies you have ever seen!
Our theme was inspired by the never-ending love affair with mermaids we all seem to have, even as adults! We still love to watch mermaid movies and fantasies about having a tale while we eat sweet treats!
Some DIY ideas included in this party included a simple backyard theatre with an Amazon bought movie projector and a sheet!
Some trends in this party included a balloon garland and fun Moroccan pillows and
blankets for movie watching guests.
